Issue

DNN Search Results will not show any page buttons although pagination and results per page are correctly set on the portal.

Environment

DNN Platform 8.0.2, Content 8.4.1.2, Engage 8.4.1.6 and below versions.

Root Cause

This issue was being caused by a known defect due to DNN disabling pagination when the result count is equal to the page size in the search results module. Behavior might not be occurring on some versions below the mentioned ones on the Environment section.

Fix

The issue was considered a defect (DNN-9727) and it has been fixed on DNN Platform 8.0.5 and Evoq 8.5.0 versions and above.

Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this behavior except upgrading to the above-mentioned or higher versions.
