How to request module installation as an OnDemand customer

Overview

By default, DNN does not provide third-party module installations to any account than the DNN Support account. This article will describe the process to request module installation as an OnDemand customer.

Prerequisites

  • You will need to be an OnDemand customer.

Solution

As an OnDemand customer, you will need to provide the following info to DNN Support:

  1. Device name - This can be found if you go into Settings > Site Settings > Site Behaviour > Site Aliases and check the alias dnnxxxxx.evoqondemand.com. The device name should be dnnxxxxx.
  2. The Extension installation package in a ZIP format.
  3. Any additional instructions, such as if you would like to upgrade an existing module to a new version.

Testing

You will need to check the extensions list to see if the module has been installed by going into Settings > Extensions.
