Edit Goal Type

Overview

Configuring goal types are essential to make sure that your community members are reaching the engagement goals at an appropriate speed and frequency. This article explains how to configure the goal types for Evoq Engage.

 

Prerequisites

A community manager account for the site or a SuperUser account. Community managers have access to community-related features and settings in Evoq Engage.

Solution

  1. Go to Persona Bar > Settings > Community.
  2. Highlight the goal type to edit. Then Click/Tap the pencil icon under the Actions column.

  3. Configure the goal type.
     
    Goal Type - New goal type to add to the site's list.
    Weight - The weighting factor to be used with the value to determine the points to add to the user's influence.
    Value - The points (multiplied with the weight) to add to the user's influence if the goal is achieved.
    Min/Max Value - The minimum and maximum allowed for Value. 

  4. Save changes.

Testing

To confirm that the goal types have been configured correctly:

  1. Log in with any user.
  2. Complete the goal that you've configured.
  3. Click on your user profile and check your points score to see if it increased at the configured value.
